Why Choose Massage?

Massage reduces muscle pain.

Massage helps to restore range of motion that is commonly lost after an auto accident.

Massage helps your recovery by restoring balance to your autonomic nervous system.

Massage promotes circulation of blood and lymph which helps speed healing by flushing the injured area with clean blood and nutrients.

Massage helps to reduce scar tissue and muscle adhesions.

Massage is an excellent treatment for whiplash.

Massage will alleviate muscle spasm and cramping.

Massage relieves headaches that result from tight muscles.

Massage helps to reduce inflammation in the injured muscles.

During the collision, muscles tighten to prevent injury. Sometimes the body holds on to this tension long after it is no longer in danger. Massage therapy helps reduce lingering muscle tension.

Import Insurance Information for Patients Recovering from an Auto Accident

You can receive massage therapy to help you recover from your auto accident with no out of pocket expense for you.

Oregon law requires that all auto insurance companies provide personal injury protection benefits (PIP) that covers at minimum $15,000 in medical care. Oregon PIP pays for medical bills as well as ongoing lost wages, medication, and care while recovering from an auto accident regardless of who is at fault.

It is your legal right to choose the Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist with whom you would like to work!

What you can do if you think
massage is right for you?

First, go to your doctor to rule out any health issues that would not indicate massage.

Receive a prescription for massage therapy from you treating physician. Your massage therapist can not diagnose so itís important the prescription clearly states what they will be treating you for.

Talk with your massage therapist to make sure they will bill your insurance.

Inform your therapist of your insurance name, insurance billing address, claim number, adjusters name and phone number. You can easily obtain this information from your insurance company.
